We built our unbundled or limited legal representation program for the purpose of serving tenants that do not need or want to pay for full representation. These types of legal services were meant to open up the market to clients that often fall through the cracks: people with real legal problems that do not get resolved because the cost of full legal representation overshadows the problem.
For a tenant that may need limited representation (i.e. a complaint drafted, a demand letter sent to a landlord, a simple consultation for guidance and direction, etc.) we can help you.
If, however, you feel that you need full legal representation, and your income falls below certain thresholds, the Volunteer Lawyers Network in downtown Minneapolis, MN, and with clinics throughout the Twin Cities metro area, may have a volunteer lawyer to take your case. Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) serves low-income clients mainly in civil litigation and family law.
If you’re a tenant in a bind, and you do not have much in the way of income, VLN may be able to help you.
